Our principle Mark Bainbridge is a Licensed Building Practitioner and he has 20 years hands-on experience in the building industry with many satisfied customers happy to testify to his quality workmanship. Mark formed his own company in 2001 and has an extensive portfolio of varied work behind him.

Our architectural designer and co-director is Mark’s wife Emma who provides all our in-house design work and is our ‘New Home Consultant’.  Our head foreman is Mark’s brother James who oversees the guys on-site - so you can be sure that communication is not an issue between the staff.

We have a good-sized team of experienced, qualified builders on staff as well as reliable contract builders and we have an office base in Harewood with a dedicated office administrator, a dedicated accounts person and a full-time draftsperson who helps Emma with drawing up our plans - so you can be sure that we have the people to make sure things get done.

We offer any type of building you require such as a complete design and build service (we manage the job from the initial design brief through to project completion), labour only work, alterations or just design. We also offer house and land packages, spec houses and can provide competitive quotations on your existing plans.

M Bainbridge Homes Ltd is a Registered Master Builder and all our homes come with a 10 year Master Build Guarantee.

We are about to begin construction on a new showhome in Rangiora which will be open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 12-3 - for you to view our standard spec and see exactly our quality of work and what you get in one of our builds.  We also have a topend showhome under construction which will soon be available for viewing by appointment.

We take the time to work with each of our individual clients ourselves so you know who is building your house and by eliminating any in-between people we eliminate any confusion that can occur when too many people are involved in a job. Our focus is on quality rather than quantity and by only taking on work we can manage ourselves we are able to stick to this guideline.

We try not to repeat a plan and can custom design anything to suit your needs. Our prices include plans, building consent fees and give you a house ready to move in to with everything fitted but the drapes.

Module NZ

We have just recently taken on the Canterbury distribution of Module NZ kitset homes and are in the process of constructing a showhome in the Hive Village (prefab homes) going in at the Canterbury Agricultural Park.

We also offer a design only service through Bainbridge Home Design, managed by Emma Bainbridge, joint owner. Emma has been designing houses for 8 years and has an extensive portfolio available for viewing. She specializes in ‘'Hollywood Style’' houses with huge street appeal and impressive entranceways without a lot of space wastage that tends to come with houses of this style. She has designed many different styles though so can look at anything you might want.
